Here are some pics from my trip to Istanbul earlier this month. I was there to perform with the Istanbul Symphony but was a merry tourist too! It was my first time there and it's fascinating. I'm in love with the city now. The history, sights, people, food, pretty much everything! Turkish Kebabs...Mmm...
Traffic was pretty crazy sometimes. Meet my cabbie. He managed to sleep and drive at the same time. Scary!
Shopping at the Grand Bazaar. I'm not the greatest at bargaining but I couldn't resist getting three turkish lamps and a belly dancing outfit!
Perhaps my belly dancing needs some work...
Time to grab the violin and get back to the office. Off I head to rehearsals at the concert hall.
